SUPERVIVE has two currently available modes: Trios, a Battle Royale between 12 teams of 3, gathering resources and fighting to be the last team standing, and Arena, a team deathmatch-style gamemode where 2 teams of 4 must fight in small maps in a best-of-9.
Trios
Trios is a Battle Royale gamemode, taking place on The Breach. Twelve teams of three fight on a giant map to be the last team standing.
For content in this gamemode, see Getting Started.
Ranked
Trios has an alternative queue, known as Ranked Trios, where players fight for higher ranks in a competitive ladder.
Ranked Points (RP)
Players pay RP to enter a ranked match (Known as an "ante"). Lower ranks cost less RP to enter Ranked matches, the higher rank the player is, the higher the Ante cost. At Grandmaster+, players' antes will increase by 1RP per 200RP above Grandmaster.
Ranks Bronze through Diamond have 4 divisions within each. Players start at Bronze IV, divisions increase from IV, to III, to II, to I, each division needing 200RP to advance. Upon reaching Grandmaster, there are no more divisions and the players' RP is uncapped. The top 100 Grandmaster players become Legend.
Ranks | Ante |
---|---|
Bronze | -10RP |
Silver | -20RP |
Gold | -25RP |
Platinum | -25RP |
Diamond | -30RP |
Master | -35RP |
Grandmaster | -35RP, + -1RP per 200RP above Grandmaster |
Legend | -35RP, + -1RP per 200RP above Grandmaster |
Performance
To earn RP in a ranked match, teams must secure kills and outlast other teams. Kills on a team are progressively worth more, as well. For example, if there's a team that has had 3 total deaths, the first kill is worth +2RP, the second kill worth +4RP, and the third kill is worth +6RP. A team that has had 5 total deaths will have their kills worth +1RP, +2RP, +2RP, +3RP, and +4RP.
Each team is worth +12RP, divided amongst their deaths. The total RP per team will always equal out to +12RP.
Placement rewards further RP, following this chart:
Placement | RP Reward |
---|---|
1st | +40 RP |
2nd | +30 RP |
3rd | +25 RP |
4th | +20 RP |
5th | +15 RP |
6th | +10 RP |
7th | +10 RP |
8th | +10 RP |
9th | +5 RP |
10th | +5 RP |
11th | +0 RP |
12th | +0 RP |
Bonus
Bonuses are a personal RP bonus for players performing above their rank. These can vary from player-to-player within a team.
Players gain Bonuses by:
- Performing above expectations to their skill, typically by killing higher-rank players.
- Their skill is higher than their rank.
Gamemode Differences
Players within Diamond+ can only play with players Silver+. Within Master, players can only queue with 1 other player, and within Grandmaster, players can only queue alone.
Within Ranked Trios, Resurgence is disabled.
Arena
Arena is a 4v4 mode where 2 teams fight against each other in first to 5 mode.
Each round has a 1-minute 35-second timer.
There is a Basecamp in 1 of 3 central positions on the map. Standing on it start a capture process at the end of which your team will take control of it, granting your team an
Armor upgrade. Whichever team controls the
Basecamp by the end of the timer wins the round. If the
Basecamp is contested, then the round will enter Overtime until a team wins.
A team will also win the round instantly if they score a team elimination.
There are Revive Beacons around the map which can be used to revive your team. In addition, there is a
Evil Chest which can be opened without the need for a key.
The arena has 4 islands on its map, and they are all different from the battle royale Map. Players with enough mobility are able to access the rest of the islands through dashing and gliding. Beacons on the islands are active, but it's a dangerous move due possible spikes from enemies waiting for the players coming back on the edge of current island.
Practice mode
Practice mode allows players to test all hunters in game through menu (default Escape key). The menu allows for adding levels, gold, shards, resetting cooldowns, teleporting around the map and changing currently played hunter. The map contains area for testing damage on a Shrike (note: this Shrike is treated as a mob, not a player) and capturing and using a Basecamp (center island/default spawn), fighting versus enemies (spawns a moving bot which is actually treated like a player), fighting versus mobs (left island) and a tutorial for gliding and spiking (to access spiking zone you need to complete gliding tutorial first).
