SUPERVIVE is a Neon-apocalyptic Hero Battle Royale that features an improvisational action sandbox with explosive shootouts and a new era of storm chasing hunters.
Movement & Control
Supervive plays like a top-down hero shooter with WASD character movement and aim-based projectiles, each hunter has a primary attack he activates by pressing the interact key [LMB], as well as four unique abilities that are assigned by default to the [RMB], [Q], [Lshift] and [R] keys.
You can sneak with left control, while sneaking, your movement becomes slower and your vision increases and you see more of the surrounding area. In addition, you can jump with the space bar to get to a higher ground, if you press and hold the space bar you will glide while airborne, gliding is essential for navigation, but also leaves you extremely vulnerable. if you take any damage while gliding, you will immediately be stunned and smashed into the ground, or the abyss, which, predictably, results in death.
Drop Phase
At the start of a match, each team has an assigned "Team Leader" who is responsible for choosing when and where the team would drop on the map.
Each match would have Storm Shifts, which are effects that modify the current match, decided at random
The path, at which the teams travel before dropping would be different from match to match, the shape of the trajectory may be a straight path and may also be cone-shaped, in addition, the direction from where and to where the path goes is also random.
When the drop leader is choosing where he drops to, he can press the interact key [LMB] at that location (given that it's along the path), when the team gets near enough for the drop range they will be dropped together, at which point the Drop Leader would now be able to use the WASD keys to move the entire team in any direction while dropping.
Players can also choose to detach from the Drop Leader and the team and use WASD independently to move away from the team trajectory.
The Drop Leader role can be passed onto the next player by long pressing the interact key [R] during the Hunter Select and Drop Point Select phases.
Gliding & Spiking
While gliding, you are consuming Glider Fuel that keeps you airborne, if the Fuel runs out the Hunter will stop gliding.
In addition, when gliding above the abyss you will be more vulnerable since getting hit by a source of damage (not only Enemy Hunters, NPCs can also knock you) will smash you to the abyss and will result in instant death, leaving your Deathbox at the ground where you last stood.
When a player is low down, underneath ground level, a balloon will appear to indicate the player's hitbox. Enemies can hit that target and result in the same spike as if they hit your Hunter directly.
Wisp
Combat in Supervive on the whole is lethal and most hunters can be downed with a few well-placed abilities or attacks, but there are also lots of ways to recover from an unfortunate early end.
When your health is reduced to 0 you will be knocked into a wisp state. While in a Wisp state, you can move around though you will be heavily slowed.
If an ally hunter stands on your wisp long enough you will be revived with a portion of your health. If an enemy stands on you long enough, you'll die and leave behind a Deathbox that contains some of your resources.
Additionally, Enemy hunters may press the interact key [E] to perform an Execute animation that will kill your wisp by its end.
Equipment & Skills
You drop into the map at level 1, with your [LMB] Skill and one additional skill upgrade point that may be used to unlock one of the Hunter's skills, [RMB], [E], [Lshift], or [R]. So you'll need to power up to stand a chance against other teams.
Kill monsters to gain levels and unlock new abilities, Some abilities can be unlocked only at certain levels, like [R] Ultimate Abilities can be unlocked at level 5. and only one skill can be upgraded to a level 3 bonus.
Monsters can also drop Equipment, which grants bonus stats to your hunter, They can come in the form of Weapons, Boots, and Backpacks.
You can wear two unique pieces of equipment at once, along with your Armor, Backpacks, and Boots. If the Hunter does not have any armor he will take more damage, while each armor tier will grant him more damage resistance.
upgrade your equipment by picking up Power Shards or by grabbing shards from defeated enemy players. when enough points are gathered, you will be prompted to upgrade the item to more powerful stat equipment with unique effects.
Consumble Items
Along with equipment, monsters can also drop Consumable items, the most common consumable is Vive Beans, which restores a small amount of health and mana after a short duration, but you will find other Consumables as well.
Be careful when using healing Consumables, as you'll take more damage while eating, being vulnerable during its duration.
Powers
Powers are completely new abilities for your hunter and can be passive or active.
You can equip up to two Powers on your Hunter. Powers are divided into tiers, indicating their strength potential. Active item's default key binds are [Z] and [C].
Powers can totally shift your strategy, so be on the lookout for potential synergies and find your favorites.
Basecamp
if you need a moment to prepare for the approaching storm or to recover from a close fight, look for a Basecamp. Standing on a Basecamp, either Enemies or not, would start the Claiming process at the end of which would be assigned to your team.
Calming a Basecamp will grant vision of the surrounding area, as well as give your team a place to heal when standing with the Hunter in the middle of it, repair Armor by standing near the Envil at the right side of the camp and long pressing the interact key [E], or cook Vive Beans into a more potent brew by standing near the cooking pot at the left side of the camp and long pressing the interact key [E].
Another option that opens when your team claims a Basecamp is that you are able to pack it into your inventory for a price and place it in another part of the map of your choosing.
You can also recall to your Basecamp from elsewhere on the map by pressing the interact key [B].
Deathbox & Beacon Revive
Even if an ally was killed, there are still ways to get them back to the game.
You can channel a full revive directly from their Deathbox by long pressing the interact key [E] near the Deathbox, or find an active, unused, revive beacon to bring back your entire team, as long as you can survive enemy hunters looking for an easy target.
Using the Revive Beacon would play a sound that Enemies would hear as well as seeing the revival duration on the minimap.
