Biomes

Biomes are locations within The Breach containing a variety of interactables. Biomes can contain Basecamps, Creeps, Vaults, Chests and biome-specific interactables.

Biomes also contain shops with regional Powers for each Biome. Basecamp shops within Biomes do not contain regional Powers, as Basecamps offer Powers rotating every real-life hour.

Kobayashi's

Kobayashi's is a special biome on the map, having its own region assigned to it. At nighttime, combat is permitted within Kobayashi's. During daytime, combat in Kobayashi's is limited; guards are abundant in the area, and on a player dealing damage to a Hunter, the attacker will be marked as a Criminal.

The criminal debuff lasts for several minutes, during which the guards within Kobayashi's will Ground the player and attempt to kill them. The Criminal debuff persists through death, meaning resurrecting a Criminal inside of Kobayashi's will cause the guards to attempt to kill the resurrected criminal.

Both the attacking Hunter and the hit Hunter have to be inside of Kobayashi's to brand the attacker a Criminal. Impulses that do not deal damage, such as Airblast or Kingpin's Abyssal Grasp (RMB) do not count as attacking Hunters.
